Another year has passed, time is flying! This was yet another great year for Ploi, a lot has happened, let’s take a look what happened over the course of 2025!

IPv6 support has arrived 🚨
IPv4 is running out and preparing for IPv6 is important. Not only did we add support for IPv6 but also hostnames! So now you can not only use an IPv4, IPv6 address but also a hostname like server.example.com 🔥
A new CLI has arrived 💻
Ploi CLI, bringing the full power of Ploi right to your terminal! Now you can manage your entire infrastructure without leaving your command line environment: https://github.com/ploi/cli
Ploi Core is now free ✌️
Ploi Core is now completely free, no purchase fee anymore. You will still need the Ploi Unlimited (https://ploi.io/pricing) subscription, but other than that you can now download this software for free at https://github.com/ploi/ploi-core
This change now makes it possible for others to contribute and make it an even better product 🔥
Server monitoring updates 💡
A lot has happened to our server monitoring feature, not only can Unlimited users go back to 30 days in history now but Pro users are also increased to 14 days retention!
Next to that we added: additional disks monitoring, network monitoring, revamped the charts and filters, and we added recovery notifications!
Teams update 🔥
We can safely say this was one of the biggest updates and migrations of Ploi this year. Servers now belong to teams instead of individual users, enabling better team collaboration and access control. This was a highly requested feature on our roadmap: https://roadmap.ploi.io/projects/7-bugs/items/467-team-member-does-not-have-access-to-all-features-you-need-a-paid-subscription
BIMI emails verified 🔋
Some of you might of noticed already, Ploi now sends their emails with a BIMI certificate. That means our emails will have a blue checkmark and our logo shows up in your inbox for most of the email providers. Ploi sends delicate emails, security is important. This allows you to see whether the email was really sent by us which increases security🔥
Wrapped 🎁
Did you already create your Ploi Wrapped for 2025? Over 800 Ploi users already did! Go check it out and get yours: https://ploi.io/panel/wrapped
Reflecting
It’s always good to reflect and see what we promised to deliver and actually delivered. When we take a look at the 2024 recap (https://ploi.io/news/recap-ploi-2024) these things we’d focus on:
IPv6 support (Done ✅)
Typesense server type (Done ✅)
Ploi surge (Running a BETA 🚧)
Customised server (WIP 🚧)
Streaming backups (Cancelled ❌)
Brand new file explorer (Still planned 📅)
And many more… (And boy, did we deliver on other features, take a look above 😊)
So not everything worked out, but that doesn’t mean it’s not coming. We’re still actively working on these features, and we’re already planning ahead.
