By default, SSH password authentication is disabled for any server that is provisioned with Ploi. You can authenticate with SSH keys which you can find in our other tutorials on how to use these.
To login into root user, first login with the default ploi user, and then type sudo su, you will be prompted to enter a password which you received in the e-mail when your server completed installation.
