Ploi teams let you collaborate with others — colleagues, clients or contractors — and control exactly what each member can do, per server.
Inviting a member
Open your team settings and add a member by their e-mail address. Ploi sends them an invite link that's valid for 24 hours:
- If they already have a Ploi account, accepting the invite adds them to your team.
- If they're new, the link takes them to sign up with that e-mail, and they join your team once registered.
Only the team owner can invite or remove members.
How permissions work
Permissions are granular and per-server, so a member can have different access on different servers. You can control access to things like managing sites, databases, PHP, SSH, firewall/network rules, cron jobs, queue workers and daemons, Docker, the file explorer, backups and server insights.
- The team owner (the account that owns the team) always has full access and bypasses permission checks.
- New members inherit the team's default permissions.
- You can grant extra permissions to a specific member on a specific server, disable inherited ones, and even limit them to specific sites.
Managing a member's permissions
From your team, open the permissions screen for the member and server you want to configure, adjust their granular permissions (and the sites they may access), and save. Changes take effect immediately.
