# How do I use my own domain?

We offer the ability to run the status page completely on your own domain (see example) which is very easy to setup. We will handle all the SSL certificate hassle and will also always force SSL for you, you do not have to do anything about this.

Once you have created your status page, you are also able to fill in a 'Domain name'. The only thing you have to do is fill in the domain name you desire like: **status.domain.com** and then create a **CNAME** record to **status-page.ploi.app**.

Example in the status page form:

The DNS record for the domain **domain.com** should look like this:

Next visit that domain which might take some time as SSL is being setup, just be patient and wait until your status page is displayed.
